About Syllabus Foundry
Teacher-led Commerce resources, built with classroom use in mind.
Syllabus Foundry develops structured Commerce resources for Classes XI–XII. It begins with Accountancy and is intended to expand to Economics and Business Studies as further resources are completed and released.
Why Syllabus Foundry exists
Teachers often spend significant time collecting questions, checking solutions, organising files and deciding whether a resource fits their learners. A useful resource must do more than contain questions: it should make its scope, purpose and included files clear enough for a teacher to make an informed classroom decision.
Syllabus Foundry is being built around that need—clearer resource scope, organised student and teacher outputs, visible correction routes and continued teacher control over how a resource is used.
How the work is approached
The project follows four practical principles.
Begin with a defined classroom need.
A resource should identify the class, subject, chapter and intended use before its content is developed or published.
Make the scope visible.
Visitors should be able to see what a released resource covers, which files are included and what each file is for before downloading it.
Keep the teacher in control.
Teachers should be able to preview a resource and decide whether to use it completely, select particular questions or adapt its use to their learners and available time.
Treat corrections as part of responsible publishing.
Possible issues should have a visible reporting route. A released file should not be silently replaced; any replacement must follow a recorded version and correction process.
Led by Shubham Kumar Pandit
Syllabus Foundry is developed by Shubham Kumar Pandit, a senior-secondary Commerce educator working with Accountancy, Economics and Business Studies for Classes XI–XII.
His classroom work informs the project’s practical focus: resources should be clearly organised, usable in real teaching situations and flexible enough for a teacher to exercise professional judgement.
Accountancy first. A broader Commerce scope over time.
The initial public resources focus on Accountancy. Economics and Business Studies may be added as further resources complete the required development and release process. No future release date is promised.
Independently developed
Syllabus Foundry is an independent educational resource brand and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CBSE.
