Independent educational material
Syllabus Foundry resources are independently developed educational materials. They are not official CBSE publications and are not affiliated with or endorsed by CBSE.
Resources are intended to support teaching, revision and assessment decisions. They do not replace the applicable syllabus, official notifications, prescribed materials or a teacher’s professional judgement.
Free access
The initial released sample is provided without payment, account creation or email registration. “Free” refers to the access price; it does not place the material in the public domain or remove copyright and licence conditions.
Ownership and attribution
Unless stated otherwise, the website copy, resource design, questions, solutions, marking guidance, branding and downloadable files are owned by or licensed to Syllabus Foundry and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Syllabus Foundry and its branding must not be removed, obscured or presented as another person’s work. CBSE and any other third-party names or marks remain the property of their respective owners.
What you may do
Unless a resource page states a different licence, Syllabus Foundry grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use a released resource for personal study and private educational use, subject to these terms.
Teachers and educational institutions may
- download and retain the exact released file;
- print or photocopy the complete resource or selected pages for their own classes;
- share the exact, unmodified file privately with students they directly teach;
- share the exact, unmodified file privately with teaching staff and enrolled students within the same school, coaching institute or tuition setting;
- place the exact file in a password-protected class group, email, intranet or learning platform limited to those teachers and students; and
- annotate a personal or working copy and select particular questions for classroom use, without redistributing an altered file as an official Syllabus Foundry release.
Students may
- download, print and use the resource for personal study;
- submit their own answers to a teacher; and
- share the official resource link with classmates.
These permissions apply even where the educator or institution charges for teaching, provided that the Syllabus Foundry resource itself is not separately sold, sublicensed or used as a paid downloadable product.
What you may not do without written permission
You may not:
- sell, rent, sublicense or charge separately for a Syllabus Foundry resource;
- include it in a paid bundle, commercial question bank, course download, subscription library or competing product;
- upload the file or substantial extracts to a public website, public drive, open repository, marketplace, social-media channel or unrestricted group;
- mass-forward the file beyond your own students, teaching staff or institution;
- remove or obscure authorship, branding, copyright, version or correction information;
- publish a modified file in a way that suggests it is an official Syllabus Foundry release;
- claim authorship or official approval of the material;
- systematically scrape, extract or copy the content to build a competing database, question bank, model, training dataset or automated content service;
- bypass access controls or interfere with the website’s security or operation; or
- use the website or resources unlawfully or in a way that infringes another person’s rights.
Nothing in these terms limits a right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
Share the official page, not an unauthorised public copy.
You may publicly share a link to the official Syllabus Foundry resource page. If you want to make the file publicly available elsewhere, reproduce substantial content in another publication or use it beyond the licence above, request written permission first.
Teacher guidance
Teacher solutions and marking guidance are provided as educational support. Teachers remain responsible for deciding how a resource is used, what guidance is shared with students and how work is assessed in their context.
No guarantee of results or official status
Reasonable care may be taken in developing and reviewing resources, but no educational resource can be guaranteed to be error-free or suitable for every learner, classroom or examination context.
Syllabus Foundry does not guarantee marks, examination results, admission outcomes, syllabus coverage for a particular session or acceptance by any school, board or institution. Users should check current official requirements and exercise professional or personal judgement before relying on a resource.
Corrections and replacement files
Possible issues may be reported through the Corrections page. A submitted report does not automatically require a change.
If a released file is replaced, the replacement must follow the applicable version and correction process. Earlier versions may remain traceable, but only the version identified on the current official resource page is the current public release.
Availability
Syllabus Foundry may update, suspend or remove website features or resources when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance or release control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or permanent availability of every resource.
External links and services
The website may link to third-party services, including Google Forms. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Syllabus Foundry is not responsible for an external service’s availability, content or independent data practices.
Responsibility for use
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Syllabus Foundry and Shubham Kumar Pandit are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of, inability to use or reliance on the website or resources.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded. Your legal rights under applicable law remain unaffected.
Misuse
The licence granted by these terms may be withdrawn for material misuse, including unauthorised resale, public redistribution, removal of attribution or use in a competing commercial product. Ending the licence does not affect obligations that are intended to continue, including ownership and restrictions on unauthorised distribution.
Updates
These terms may be updated when the website, resource model or law changes. The current version will show an updated date. A new paid product, account system or commercial service must receive appropriate product-specific terms before release.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Gurugram, Haryana will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these terms, the website or its resources.
