Corrections

Report a possible issue in a released resource.

If you notice a possible error, mismatch or unclear point in a released Syllabus Foundry resource, please report it through the correction form. A clear report helps the exact released file and version to be reviewed.

What can be reported

The correction route may be used for issues such as:

  • a possible error in a question, figure, solution or marking guidance;
  • a mismatch between the student and teacher files;
  • wording or presentation that may materially affect interpretation;
  • a missing, incorrect or broken resource link; or
  • another issue affecting the use of a released resource.

Help us locate the issue

Before opening the form, note the resource title or version, whether the issue appears in the student or teacher file, the relevant page or question number and a concise explanation of what appears to need attention.

Open the Correction Form — opens Google Forms in a new browser tab

The correction form opens in Google Forms. Please do not include passwords, financial information or unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Share only what is needed to review the issue.

Do not submit student names, marks, contact details or other personal information unless they are genuinely necessary to explain the reported issue. Read the Privacy page for information about how correction reports and related personal information are handled.

If you are under 18, ask a parent, lawful guardian or teacher to submit the correction report on your behalf.

What happens next

  1. Exact-version review

    The report is checked against the identified released resource and file version.

  2. Assessment

    The reported point is reviewed to determine whether a correction, clarification or no change is appropriate.

  3. Controlled replacement, where required

    If a released file needs to change, the replacement must receive an explicit successor version, preserved correction lineage, new governing checksums and updated release authority. The earlier release remains traceable.

  4. Website update after approval

    A public file is replaced on the website only after the corrected version has completed the required approval and release steps.

Submitting a report starts a review; it does not automatically replace a file or guarantee that a change will be made. No response time is promised.
