Privacy Policy
Syllabus Foundry is designed to provide educational resources without requiring visitors to create an account. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you visit the website, download a resource, open the external correction form or contact us about privacy.
Effective date: 31 October 2026
Who we are

Information that may be processed
Ordinary website access
You can browse the website and download the free resource without creating an account or providing your name, email address or phone number to Syllabus Foundry.
The hosting infrastructure may automatically process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an Internet Protocol address, browser type, device or operating-system information, requested page, referrer, date and time, and security or error logs.
Correction reports
The correction form is provided through Google Forms and opens on a Google domain. If you submit it, Syllabus Foundry receives the information you enter in the form. Depending on the form settings and your choices, this may include resource details, page or question references, your explanation of the issue and any contact information you choose or are informed will be collected before submission.
Google may also process device, account, cookie and technical information under Google’s own privacy terms. Syllabus Foundry does not control Google’s independent processing of that information.
Privacy enquiries
If you contact the privacy address, we process your email address, message and any information you choose to provide so that we can understand and respond to the request.
What we do not ask for on the website
The initial Syllabus Foundry website does not ask visitors to create an account, make a payment, join a newsletter, submit student records or create a public profile.
Please do not send student names, marks, health information, passwords, financial details, identity documents or other sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary and specifically requested for a lawful purpose.
Why information may be used
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to:
- deliver website pages and public resource files;
- maintain website reliability, security and abuse prevention;
- investigate a reported resource or website issue;
- communicate about a privacy or correction request where contact information is available;
- preserve a non-identifying correction and release history; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations or protect lawful rights.
Syllabus Foundry does not sell personal information and does not use correction reports for advertising or unrelated marketing.
Cookies and tracking
The first-release website is designed without Syllabus Foundry analytics, advertising pixels or marketing cookies. Essential hosting, delivery or security technologies may still be used by the hosting provider to operate and protect the site.
The external Google correction form is governed by Google’s own cookie and privacy practices. Because it opens on a separate Google domain, you should review the information shown by Google before submitting the form.
Service providers
The initial website relies on:
- Hostinger for website and domain infrastructure; and
- Google Forms/Google Drive for correction-form delivery and response storage.
These providers may process information in India or other locations under their own terms, privacy policies and security arrangements. Syllabus Foundry may also disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect the website, users or legal rights.
How long information is kept
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to maintain relevant correction or release records, to resolve disputes or to meet legal obligations.
Personal identifiers in a correction report are deleted or anonymised within 12 months after the report is closed, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for legal, security, dispute-resolution or correction-lineage purposes. A non-identifying record of the reported issue, decision, correction lineage and affected release may be retained for resource traceability.
Technical logs and provider-held copies may be retained according to the hosting or form provider’s settings, backup cycles and legal obligations.
Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information under Syllabus Foundry’s control. No internet transmission, storage system or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Information from children
Syllabus Foundry resources may be used by school students, but the initial website is not designed to collect personal information directly from children. If you are under 18 and want to report a correction or make a privacy request, please ask a parent, lawful guardian or teacher to submit it on your behalf.
Do not include student names, marks or other personal information in a correction report unless it is genuinely necessary to explain the issue.
Access, correction, deletion and grievances
Subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements, you may ask whether Syllabus Foundry directly holds personal information about you and request access, correction, deletion or grievance review.
Send the request to privacy@syllabusfoundry.com with enough information to identify the relevant submission. We may need to verify the request before acting on it. Requests concerning information controlled independently by Google or Hostinger may need to be directed to that provider.
Other websites
The website may link to external services, including Google Forms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. A link does not make Syllabus Foundry responsible for an external service’s content or data practices.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated when the website, resources, service providers or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective or last-updated date. A material change affecting information already collected will be handled as required by applicable law.
